I worked hard to become the flutist and teacher I am today. Here are my qualifications and some things that I am especially proud of!

Education

Undergraduate Conservatory Diploma in Music Performance, May 2020 — Longy School of Music of Bard College

  • Dr. Christine Erlander Beard, Professor of Flute, University of Nebraska at Omaha. 2022-Present

  • Daniel Morgenstern, Former Principal of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, 1974-1975. Private instruction 2015-2016

Teaching Experience

  • Private flute lessons 2020-present

  • Music Theory Teaching Assistant at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, 2022-2024

  • Three semesters of El Sistema Program with the Longy Conservatory Orchestra

  • Two semesters of pedagogy instruction

  • Completed the Teaching Artistry Program at Longy School of Music

  • Lecture recital “Lakota Music Collaboration” at the National Flute Association Convention August 2024 and at the Flute New Music Consortium in October of 2024

  • Final Master's Recital: "In Spaces Real and Imagined" spring 2025. Included original composition written for me by composer and artist Victoria Keddie

  • Outstanding Graduate Student, University of Nebraska at Omaha School of Music 2023-2024

  • First Master’s Recital, “Sound Bites” spring 2024. Has since continued on to be a professional project in collaboration with local chefs, musicians, and artists in the Omaha area 

  • First prize in the University of Nebraska at Omaha Research and Creativity Fair 2023 for “Sound Bites” research
